At 19 years of age, Gazoz won his first Hyundai Archery World cup stage with gold in Berlin, beating Lee Woo Seok in a shoot-off. He shot a handful of consecutive 680+ qualifying rounds at international competition and deservedly made the top five in the world ranking.
